Description

No 4 Bridge Street is a 19th-century building featuring a stucco facade with a plinth and a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has four windows, most of which have segmental arches. There is a bay on the first floor with a triple light window. All windows are unbarred sashes. At the rear, there is a carriageway arch that provides access to Willow Place. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 24 (even) and Nos 1 to 7 (odd) on Bridge Street, as well as Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) on Willow Place and the Town Bridge, which connects Castle Street and Bridge Street. Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) on Willow Place, Bridge Street, and No 22 Bridge Street are noted for their local interest.
