Description

These are two 18th-century buildings on Bridge Street. They are constructed of painted brick with a brick eaves cornice and a steeply pitched double span roof covered in old tiles. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows. The centre window on the first floor is blank, while the other first-floor windows are modern casements. The west side of the ground floor has a good 19th-century shop front, consisting of an advanced square bay with a cornice and a central door flanked by window lights, all divided by pilasters. There is an additional door located between this shop front and an eastern reproduction bow window. A barber’s pole is positioned above the western shop front.
