Description
10 Bridge Street is a 19th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring a brick plinth and yellow brick dressings. It stands three storeys tall and has a round-arched dormer. The building has a panelled parapet and yellow brick bands between the floors. The roof is not visible. There are four windows: the second-floor windows have segmental arches, the first-floor windows have flat arches, and the ground-floor windows have round arches. All windows are unbarred sashes and have stucco keys. The ground floor features a round-arched door with a fanlight on each side.
This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 24 (even) and Nos 1 to 7 (odd), as well as Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) Willow Place, Bridge Street, and the Town Bridge, which connects Castle Street and Bridge Street. Nos 1 to 3 Willow Place, Bridge Street, and No 22 Bridge Street are noted for their local interest.
