Description
12 and 14 Bridge Street are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings with a stucco facade featuring a band at the second floor sill height. Pilasters flank the first and second floor center window. The buildings have a slate roof and rise five storeys with three windows. The windows are mainly sashes with late 19th century glazing, and the first floor includes one three-light sash window. The ground floor has a modern shop front. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 24 (even) and Nos 1 to 7 (odd), as well as Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) Willow Place, Bridge Street, and the Town Bridge that connects Castle Street and Bridge Street. Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) Willow Place, Bridge Street, and No 22 Bridge Street are noted for their local interest.
