Description

Quartleys, located at No 22 on Castle Street, is an early 19th-century building with a stucco facade that has been restored. It features a slate roof with red ridge tiles and stands three storeys high, including a dormer. The building has three sash windows with glazing bars, although many have been replaced. At the eastern end, there is a door accessed by a flight of railed steps, which consists of a six-panelled double door with panelled reveals and a flat canopy supported by brackets. Additionally, there are iron area railings along the street boundary. Quartleys, along with No 20, forms a group with the Town Bridge.
