Description

The signboard of the King's Arms Hotel is an early 19th-century structure located on Castle Street. It features a freestanding design with a wrought iron frame mounted on a tall, tapered wooden post, which is surfaced with stucco. This signboard is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 11 (odd), the Castle, the Constable's House, and the Town Bridge, as well as Nos 4 to 6 (even), 6A, 8 to 12 (even), 12A, and 14 to 18 (even), along with the King's Arms Hotel itself, which is situated opposite.
