Description
9 Castle Street is an 18th-century double pile house that was altered in the 19th century. It features painted brickwork and wide coved eaves. The building has a tied roof with a later hipped gable added at the front. It stands two storeys high and has two early 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars. There is an arched carriageway entrance to the rear under the western end of the building, and an advanced shop front beneath a tiled roof.
