Description

No 24 Bridge Street is an 18th-century building with a stucco facade and a tiled roof featuring stone verges. It stands two storeys tall and has two windows on the first floor, which are sash windows with late 19th-century glazing. The ground floor window has modern glazing, and there is an additional modern shop window that is not currently in use. The entrance is through a central door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 24 (even) and Nos 1 to 7 (odd), as well as Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) Willow Place and the Town Bridge, which connects Castle Street and Bridge Street. Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive) Willow Place, Bridge Street, and No 22 Bridge Street are also noted for their local interest.
