Description
32 and 34 Bridge Street are early 18th century buildings located under the same roof as No 30. They are constructed of red brick and feature a brick eaves cornice and a tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high with three gabled dormers and four windows, one of which is a double sash. No 32 has two of its windows with boxed frames and glazing bars, while No 34 has unbarred sashes with twisted 19th century iron columns separating the lights. Notably, No 32 has an unusual doorway that is divided vertically into two sections and is flanked by fluted pilasters, with a projecting cornice above. Nos 30 to 34, along with Avonbank at No 23 opposite and Waterloo Bridge, form a group of buildings of local interest.
