Description

40A Bridge Street is a 19th-century building that is part of the same structure as No 40. It features a stuccoed facade with an eaves band and a parapet. The roof is not visible. The building has three storeys and includes one round arched window on each floor. The windows are sash style with moulded architraves and late 19th-century glazing. There is a band above the round arched carriage entrance at the rear. Nos 38 to 56 (even) and No 40A form a group, which includes Nos 42 to 46 (even) and Nos 52 to 56 (even) as buildings of local interest.
