Description

Waterloo Bridge, built between 1816 and 1817, is a Grade I listed structure designed in the medieval tradition. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features three wide segmental arches with cutwaters. The parapet curves around at the ends and ends in circular piers. The bridge is part of a group that includes Nos 30 to 34 (even) Avonbank and No 23 opposite, with Avonbank being a building of local interest.
