Description

This is a pair of houses, now used as offices, located on Longfleet Road in Poole. They were built in the early 19th century and are designed in a late Georgian style. The houses are constructed from rendered brick and feature a central brick axial stack and a slate hipped roof. The layout is double-depth with rear service wings and they stand two storeys tall, comprising a six-window range.

Notable architectural features include bracketed eaves, outer round-arched doorways with three-pane radial fanlights and six-panel doors, round-arched ground-floor windows, and six-over-six pane sashes in exposed boxes. A full-width wrought-iron verandah with batswing spandrels and a partly glazed swept roof enhances the façade.

Inside No. 3, there is an entrance hall that is divided by an elliptical arch leading to a rear open dogleg stair, which has stick balusters and a curtail.
