Description

A pair of attached houses on Thames Street, Poole, built in the early 19th century and restored around 1992. The houses are constructed of Flemish bond brickwork with a slate roof and follow a double-depth plan. They are two storeys and an attic in height, with a two-window front. Each house has a right-hand doorway with a rectangular overlight and a 20th-century six-panel door, set within a gauged brick flat arch. The ground-floor windows are 6/6-pane sashes with horns, while the upper-floor windows have been replaced. Four late 20th-century gabled dormers light the attic. The interior has been extensively altered and was noted to have previously included a semicircular-arched entrance. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
