Description
The walls and railings surrounding the south and west sides of St James's Churchyard date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick with stone coping and feature iron railings. The structure extends approximately 70 meters along the south and west sides of the churchyard. There is a dwarf wall with interval piers on the inner face, accompanied by iron railings along the northwest side and southeast corner. The Church of St James, which these walls and railings enclose, was rebuilt in 1820.
