Description
Jasmin Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges and a central ashlar stack. The building is designed in a Gothic style and has one storey with attics in a dormer at the rear.
The road-facing elevation includes two blocked windows and features double and triple lancets. The west gable has a blocked pointed arch doorway with a drip mould, which has been fitted with a 20th-century window. The east gable has two storeys and showcases a three-light casement window with moulded mullions beneath a drip mould. The entrance elevation at the rear has three windows, comprising one- and two-light casements.
