Description
The Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast and features a double Roman tiled roof with three stacks, one rendered and two made of stone, with one serving as a ridge stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with four windows: two casements on the right and two replaced sashes on the left, both with external shutters. There are three gabled dormers. The central entrance has a doorcase with a fielded six-panel door, topped by a pedimented doorcase that includes dentil rows along the cornice and inside the pediment. Some internal shutters are visible on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a stone gateway featuring a flattened ogee arch with chamfered arch and jambs, along with a boarded wooden door.
