Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of rubble stone with an imitation stone slate roof and two stacks at the rear. It is two storeys high with an attic and features a four-window range, including four hipped dormers. There are dripcourses above the main floors, and the windows are sash types set in raised beaded surrounds. The central door is framed by a fine Roman Doric pedimented doorcase with a pulvinated frieze. The building has 20th-century aluminium sash windows. The end walls each have one window, with the south end featuring a large canted bay on the ground floor. At the rear, there is a central projecting gable flanked by lean-tos on each side.
