Description

This is a C17 pair of cottages, now combined into a single house. The building is constructed of rubble stone with a stone slate roof. It has 1½ and 2 storeys, with a stack at the south end of each original cottage. The left-hand cottage has a double-gabled front, featuring two-light, cyma-moulded recessed mullion windows with hoodmoulds, two on each floor. A two-light window replaces the original door. The right-hand cottage has ovolo-moulded mullion windows, with two two-light windows above, a three-light window with a dripstone on the ground floor to the right, and a single light to the left. Two small square attic lights are set into the south end wall.
