Description
A pair of cottages, now combined into a single house, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone with stone tiled roofs. The west cottage has a coped west gable and a west end stack. It features two ground-floor windows with two lights each, having a cyma-moulded design and dripstones, with a gable to the right, coped with a saddlestone. Flush quoins are present. The west-facing elevation has similar two-light windows on both floors, alongside a boarded door set within a chamfered surround topped with a segmental hood supported by brackets. The east cottage has a coped east gable, an east end stack, and a ridge stack at the west end. It possesses two two-light, cyma-moulded windows flanking a door accessed by a trellis porch. A dormer gable on the left side incorporates a two-light, cyma-moulded window.
