Description
Cheltenham Cottage is a house dated 1707, constructed from rubble stone with a plain tile roof. It features coped gables, a ridge stack, and a north end stack on the rear wing. The building is two storeys high and has an 'L'-shaped plan. The south front has a three-window range, with three pairs of casement windows on the first floor and two-light and three-light recessed cyma-moulded mullion windows on the ground floor, along with a door to the right in a flush moulded surround. A datestone above the door reads "1BE 1707." The east end wall includes a first-floor three-light recessed cyma-moulded window with a hoodmould. The upper storey of the front and the roof pitch indicate 19th-century alterations. The rear wing has various casement windows on the west side.
