Description

Conduit House, located in the arboretum to the north of the kitchen gardens, is a small conduit-house that possibly dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a steep-pitched moulded ashlar roof with a moulded ridge. The front wall has a narrow loop above a chamfered low doorway, which is fitted with an iron gate. Inside, there is a pool, and the stone roof is supported by two transverse arches.
