Description
Nos 14 and 15 are a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed from rubble stone and have stone-tiled roofs. The cottages are one and a half storeys high and are arranged in an 'L'-plan, with the cross-wing (No 15) to the south and the main range (No 14) to the north, which features a stack at the north end.
The cross-wing has a two-light unmoulded window on each floor of the west gable, a door to the left, and a lean-to on the north wall that includes a door to No 15 at the west end. The main range has a door to No 14 with a timber lintel and a single stone tile hood, along with a two-light flush cyma-moulded window to the left and an upper dormer gable with casement windows. There is also a lean-to at the north end.
At the rear of No 14, there is a two-light flush cyma-moulded window to the right, a door to the left with a dormer gable, and a two-light flush bead-moulded window. The rear of No 15 features a door and casements below, with a dormer gable above that has a two-light bead-moulded window.
