Description
Bridge House is a 17th-century house that has been significantly altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with end stacks and two ridge stacks. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a lower ground floor at the left end. The original house appears to have a three-window range of ovolo-moulded mullion windows located between the ridge stacks, with two-light windows above and three-light windows below, along with a 20th-century door. There are two hipped dormers on the roof. To the right, there is a 20th-century addition that includes a similar dormer and a roof that sweeps down. On the left side, there is one window range of similar three-light windows with hoodmoulds, which seem to be reused, and one window range of 20th-century casement pairs above a lower ground floor door that is set in a 20th-century porch. There are lower 20th-century sections on each side of the house.
