Description
The barns north east of Luckington Court are a barn and stable range, possibly dating from the 16th or 17th century. They are constructed from rubble stone and feature stone slate roofs, forming an L-plan layout. The main range includes a high cart-entry on the east side, which is situated under a dovecote. The structure has gabled ends to the north and south, along with a ridge lantern. To the right, there is an open lean-to.
The center section of the barn has been altered to include stables that were inserted in 1921, featuring four doors on the west wall. The 3-bay north section has a west door framed in oak with a reused panelled door, supported by tie-beam trusses. The 2-bay south section contains two stable doors at the south end and an apex light. The south east wing features a dormer gable on the south side with a window above the stable door and two blocked round-arched cart entries to the right. On the north side, there is also a dormer gable with a pair of casement windows.
