Description
This cottage, located to the north of Luckington Court, is a 20th-century conversion of an outbuilding that may have originally served as a 16th-century outside kitchen. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a stack on the north side. The building is 1½ storeys high. The east front has leaded windows from the 20th century, with one window in the gable and a pair to the right of the door, all set beneath timber lintels. Inside, the ground floor boasts a heavy beamed ceiling with two chamfered centre beams and another beam in the west wall. There is a large fireplace on the north wall with a timber lintel. This cottage and the dovecote nearby form a matching pair.
