Description

No 5 Chapel Row is a 17th-century house that was altered in the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a stone slate roof with a stack at the east end. The building is 1½ storeys high and features a one-room plan with a large front gable. Each floor has a 16-pane sash window, and there is a door to the right that has a hood supported by brackets. This house is part of a row of three, although the other two have been significantly altered and are not considered of special interest.
