Description
Sladbrook House is a house dating from around 1800, built of rubble stone that was originally rendered, featuring ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. It includes two gabled dormers and three first-floor 12-pane sash windows set in beaded ashlar surrounds. The ground floor has a 6-panel door also in a beaded surround, topped with a hood supported by brackets, and is flanked by very large 20th-century glazing-bar bow windows. There is a two-storey addition at the north end and a single-storey addition at the south end. The house is included for its group value.
