Description
The Post Office Stores is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, constructed from painted rubble stone with stone slate roofs. The building features a 1½ storey original range with a ridge stack, alongside a two storey 18th century wing to the northeast and a single storey shop extension from the 20th century at the angle. The original range includes hollow-moulded recessed mullion windows, one of which has a hoodmould in the dormer gable above the shop, and another located on the ground floor of the slightly lower west end range. The 18th century wing has a triple casement window on each floor to the left and a pair of casement windows on the first floor to the right, situated above the 20th century shop. Extending from the north end of the wing is a range of single storey outbuildings with Bridgwater tiles that runs to the east.
