Description

Bridges Court is a house dating from around 1800, and potentially incorporating an earlier structure. The exterior is finished with whitewashed roughcast, contrasted by ashlar dressings, and topped with a stone slate roof, including end and one ridge stack. The main facade is large, spanning three stories and featuring a four-window arrangement of twelve-pane sash windows set within flush ashlar surrounds. A door was originally positioned in the second bay from the right, topped with a metal fanlight; this has been replaced with French windows. Shallow buttresses flank the doorway. A two-story gabled range projects from the north corner, with a further one-and-a-half-story range extending eastward from the northeast angle.
