Description

Luckington Manor is a house dating from the later 17th century. It is built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof and end chimney stacks. The front elevation has five windows, featuring ovolo-moulded mullion and transom windows with two lights to each, with hoodmoulds and relieving arches over the ground floor windows. A central door is set within a plain surround with a keystone. A southwest rear wing has its own end stack, and a roughly rendered rear range of the 20th century runs parallel to it. A later 20th-century two-storey wing extends west from the original rear wing, connecting to a converted barn to the west of the main house. The converted barn is of rubble stone construction with a stone slate roof, a ridge lantern, and various added 20th-century windows.
