Description

The Bell House is a former inn that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 19th century. It features a roughcast exterior with painted ashlar dressings and a slate roof, complete with coped gables and end stacks. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window range of sash windows: 9 panes on the top floor, 12 panes on the first floor, and 16 panes on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door with a hood supported by brackets. At the northwest side, there is a two-storey, one-window rear wing, and beyond that, there is a painted rubble stone, two-storey, double-fronted cottage.
