Description

Dower Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It has a roughcast exterior and a hipped roof covered with double Roman tiles. The building features a small rear stack and two stacks in the projecting gable wing on the north side, creating an L-shape. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, including one in the gable. The windows are casements, with two located to the left of the door, which has timber lintels above. The entrance features a panelled door topped by a flat plain stone hood supported on iron brackets, accessible by three stone steps.
