Description

The Old Manor House and gateway to road is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a Cotswold stone slate roof, with double Roman tiles at the rear and coped raised verges. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays, plus an additional bay from a 19th-century extension on the left side. The windows are two-light casements with moulded mullions and transoms, set under drip moulds that have lion head stops. The entrance is off-centre to the left, featuring a panelled door within a bolection moulded surround, and is sheltered by a projecting gabled porch with a pointed arch and bargeboard. There is also a square-headed ashlar gateway to the road, adorned with a scroll and shield crest.
