Description

The former coach house, stable, and section of garden wall to the rear of The Old House is a building dating from the mid-18th century, with a rebuild in 1910. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble and features a hipped roof made of Cotswold stone slate. The building stands two storeys tall and has five 2-light casement windows with plain mullions on the ground floor, along with 2-, 3-, and 4-light casements on the first floor. There are two squared-headed modern doors on the right and a blocked carriage entry on the left. A continuous string course runs above the ground floor. The garden wall is approximately 10 feet high and includes a large, 2-centred, moulded arch in the center, which is likely the original chancel arch from St. Peter's Parish Church.
