Description
The Manor House is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a triple-Roman tile roof with coped verges and three brick stacks. The building has two storeys and is arranged in a 4:2 bay configuration. The first floor features four 20th-century metal casements with concrete lintels, including three-light leaded lights and a two-light casement to the right. There is also a blank window on the extreme right with a brick surround that is stepped to form a pointed head. On the ground floor, there are two four-light stone mullioned windows with ovolo moulding and leaded lights, along with a three-light casement with glazing bars beneath a drip. The door opening is located between the first and second bays and has a moulded wooden architrave with paired panelled doors and a triangular hood supported by scrolly iron brackets. To the right, there is a single-storey outshut with a four-light moulded stone mullioned window, a stopped label, and leaded lights. An extensive wing extends at right angles to the rear of the house. The property is enclosed by a walled forecourt, and the interior is said to contain features of interest.
