Description
This building is a coach house and stables, dating from the late 18th century, originally constructed for Edington House. It is made of coursed and squared rubble, featuring a plinth with a setoff and dressed alternating rusticated freestone quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with pantiles. The structure is single storey and consists of three bays, with the center bay slightly projecting forward. It has paired plank carriage doors with a cambered lintel that includes a dressed stepped freestone key. On each side of the carriage doors, there are door openings leading to stables, which also have plank doors. Additionally, there is a 6-pane casement window set in a cambered-head reveal. Inside the coach house, there is a notable plaster cornice.
