Description

Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges and some crest tiles. The building has one storey and attics, presented in three stone gables that are coped and topped with finials. The façade consists of three bays and a door, with two- and three-light casements that have ovolo moulded stone mullions beneath drip moulds. A garage entrance has been inserted on the left side. The modern door is positioned off-centre and is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
