Description

This is a terrace of nine houses, dating from around 1830. The houses have been converted into houses, offices, and shops. The facades are constructed from ashlar, although numbers 205, 215, 217, and 219 have been painted. The roofs are a combination of pantile, slate, and modern tiles, hidden behind a moulded cornice. The terrace is two storeys high. Originally, the windows were glazing bar sashes, but most have now been replaced with 4-pane sashes, some dating from the 20th century. Modern shopfronts have been inserted at numbers 205, 217, and 219. The upper windows of numbers 205 and 207 are recessed within a shallow niche, with a recessed segmental panel above the cornice. A plat band separates each house.
