Description
Brook Lodge is a house from the mid-18th century, constructed of ashlar stone. It features a slate mansard roof with coped raised verges behind a parapet, a cornice, and a central pediment. The building has two storeys and attics, with three dormers. There are five windows arranged in a 1-3-1 pattern, with three windows in an advanced central section. All the windows are large pane sashes from the 19th century, set within moulded architraves. The central entrance has a modern door located under the pediment, which is supported by consoles. A continuous string course runs along the building, and there are corner pilasters. To the right, there is a one-storey wing with two windows. The property is enclosed by a rubble boundary wall, which features rusticated gatepiers topped with cornices and caps.
