Description
The boundary wall on the north side of Batheaston public gardens dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features stone coping. The wall is tall on the north side of the garden and even taller on the south side, where the ground level is lower than London Road East. This garden was originally part of the grounds of Batheaston House, which is listed at grade II*. The wall is notable for its quality and has group value within the context of the area.
