Description

Nos. 45 and 47 Prior Park Road is a pair of two-storey houses built from limestone ashlar, topped with a slate roof. The buildings have a compact, symmetrical design featuring a low-pitched hipped roof and entrances set back in porches.

On the exterior, each storey has a window and a central blind light. All windows are plain sashes with square cills supported by square brackets. The first-floor windows have a valance, while the ground-floor windows are paired with a central mullion colonnette. The central bay is slightly recessed, and the blind light features a cill and brackets. There is a plain eaves band with deep eaves supported by rafter brackets, and a central ashlar chimney stack. The sides of the buildings include various blind lights. Each side has an ashlar porch that is set well back, featuring a cornice, blocking course, and parapet above a vertically panelled door with a deep transom light, along with a floating cornice on console brackets.

The interiors have not been inspected.
