Description
378 and 380 Bloomfield Road are two-storey houses with a basement, constructed from limestone ashlar. The roof of number 378 is covered with slate or concrete tiles and features three ashlar stacks. The buildings form a compact block, with a large extension added to the rear.
The front facade has three windows on each floor, all of which are sash windows. There are two sixteen-pane sash windows and one twelve-pane sash window on each floor, along with a sash window in the basement. The right side of the building has a four-panelled door, while the left side has a six-panelled door that is part-glazed. There is a blocked former doorway in the center. The design includes a mid plat-band, a moulded cornice, a blocking course, and a parapet that returns to the right, where there are two twelve-pane sash windows above one.
Each house has a separately enclosed basement area with a stone curb and access between them under an access store with a doorway. The property also features attached spearheaded railings.
