Description
Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Skerrymore are three terrace houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone ashlar with a coursed lias basement and feature slate roofs, with some concrete tiles at the rear. The houses are three storeys high with a basement, each having two windows that are all plain sash. They have six-panel doors accessed by a flight of stone steps, and each door has a transom light with margin panes.
No. 1 features a full-width first-floor balcony with an anthemion iron railing, positioned over a ground-floor canted oriel supported by slender iron columns. No. 2 includes sliding Venetian shutters on all windows. No. 3 has splayed window surrounds and balconettes on the first floor. The buildings have a platband above the basement, a moulded cornice, a blocking course, and a parapet with coped party divisions and chimney stacks on the right. The rear of the houses has various windows and some additions, with No. 2 having eaves snow guards and No. 3 featuring a parapet and a slate roof. The interiors have not been inspected. Access to the properties is via a narrow lane to the west off Beechen Cliff Road.
