Description
Holly Lawn is a detached house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from painted limestone ashlar and features a slate roof. The main facade faces north, overlooking Magdalen Gardens, with a secondary facade to the west. The north front is two storeys high and has five plain sash windows, including a canted window on the first floor in bay four. The ground floor on the right is slightly projected and made of unpainted ashlar, featuring decorative cresting above a panelled door with a transom light and one sash window. The house has a hipped roof with three stacks at the rear. The right-hand end of the parapet is swept up to return to the front, which has two plain sash windows on each floor, complete with sliding Venetian shutters. This front also includes a lintel, frieze cornice, blocking course, and parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
