Description
Nos. 6, 7, and 8 Trafalgar Road are three terrace houses built around 1830, with a 20th-century addition. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature pantile roofs with moulded stacks on the right party wall and right gable end. Each house has a double depth plan and stands two storeys tall, with one window front per house. The exterior includes a coped parapet that returns over the gable ends, along with a cornice and platband. Originally, the houses had eight/eight-pane sash windows, reeded lintels above six-panel doors with ornamental panels, and three-pane overlights. There are gate piers with pyramidal caps at the front.
No. 6 features a half-anthemion and scrolls on the acroterion at the left quoin, six/six-pane sash windows, and a 20th-century door. No. 7 has late 19th-century horned two/two-pane sash windows, with a notable balconette on the first floor and the original six-panel door. No. 8, to the right, is similar but lacks the balconette. The interiors have not been inspected.
