Description
The boundary wall and gate piers to Hill Crest, Perrymead Lodge, and Perrymead Court were built in the mid-19th century. The wall is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a small plinth. It follows the downward slope of the hill and includes a pair of octagonal gate piers with pyramidal caps leading to Perrymead Lodge. The wall continues to a further pair of square piers at No. 1, Perrymead Court, which have inset ovolo moulded corners and flat caps that support upper parts of pinnacles adorned with crockets, possibly sourced from a medieval church. To the right, the wall returns to the front of Moregrove, with a return wall leading to a lower entry on the left.
