Boundary wall and gate piers to Hill Crest, Perrymead Lodge and Perrymead Court

GV II

Boundary wall with two pairs of gatepiers. Mid C19. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar. Adjoining Hill Crest (qv) to right ashlar wall on small plinth and with coping, following downward slope of hill, to pair of octagonal piers with pyramidal cappings, to Perrymead Lodge (qv), continued to further pair of square piers, to No.1, Perrymead Court (qv), with inset ovolo mould corners, to flat caps carrying upper parts of pinnacles with crockets, possibly from mediaeval church. To right wall returns to front of Moregrove (qv), and return wall to lower entry, left.
