Description
The Abbey Cemetery Pavin Tomb is a Grade II listed tomb dedicated to John Pavin, who died in 1848. It features a Neo-classical sarcophagus made of marble, topped with a massive lid. The tomb has segmental pediments at each end, adorned with acroteria, and includes cross-shaped ventilation openings. John Pavin, originally from Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire, lived in Bath for seven years at 5 Cavendish Crescent before his death. The tomb is located in section I.A.6.7.8 of the cemetery.
