Description
The Abbey Cemetery Collingridge Tomb is a Grade II listed chest tomb dedicated to John Collingridge, who died in 1855. It is made of Bath stone and rests on a Pennant stone base, featuring marble inscription panels. The large chest has fielded sides, and the torus is adorned with laurel and fillet decoration. The lid is topped with an acroterion finial. This significant neoclassical monument to Collingridge is located at the northern border of section I of the cemetery.
