Description
The Abbey Cemetery Swan Tomb is a neoclassical monument dedicated to Doveton Swan, who died in 1852. The tomb features a pedestal that supports a scroll adorned with a lily on top, and it is made of marble. Doveton was the five-year-old son of James and Eleanor Swan, who lived at 36 Pulteney Street and were formerly from Ceylon. The tomb is located in section I.Q.2.3 of the cemetery.
