Description
The monument to Mrs Pheebe Webber is a chest tomb located approximately half a metre south of another item in Cuckfield, Church Street. It dates from around 1811 and is designed in the Neo-Classical style. The tomb features a brick and stone plinth that supports a sandstone chest. It has end pilasters adorned with incised designs, and oval inscription panels that include incised lines and sunray motifs in the corners. The top of the tomb is capped with a pyramidal shaped stone slab.
